Fully funded places, supported by the Big Lottery, are available on this half-day course on understanding the best approach to refurbishment and improvement of older buildings to make them more weather resilient, flood resilient and energy efficient.

 

 

 

Why Attend?

 

Enhance your professional knowledge and skills when dealing with issues of damp, insulation and flood resilience in older, traditional properties (pre 1920’s). 

 

This course will help you understand how water from flooding and rainfall affects buildings. 

 

It will also help you to determine the best approach for insulating and weather-proofing older buildings and housing stock, taking account of the nature of their construction, what materials are suitable and improving energy efficiency.
