Climate Resilient Parks
On the 28th January local authorities came together to meet with Wirral Council, who have been running the CLASP funded Climate Resilient Parks project.
Wirral Council’s Parks and Countryside team and environmental consultants TEP have been looking at how to adapt the way Wirral’s parks are managed to cope with changes to the climate, for example more rainfall in Winter and hotter weather in Summer. The project has been looking at the five ‘pilot’ parks sites.
This workshop was an informal session where Wirral Council’s Parks and Countryside team and environmental consultants TEP presented findings from the project.
The slides from the workshop are available here.
The full report and a summary toolkit will be available later in Spring 2015.
