Low Carbon Skills Event
Wigan Council and CLASP held a special event on 23rd April 2013 to disseminate the findings from a project that explored the standing of Low Carbon Skills in Wigan.
The research was carried out in the Wigan area but is applicable across the NW, looking at influencing factors for employers and educators.
This project was awarded funding support from CLASP in 2012/13 for its potential to identify common current issues, barriers and practical actions that local authorities and educators can take to support career development in the low carbon sector.
