CLASP held a special event on 17th May 2012 for local authorities and their partner organisations focussing on the practical implementation of heat network projects.  

The day was split into two with the morning session focussing on national policy developments and practical implementation of heat network projects by local authorities. 

The afternoon session was computer based, focussing on the use of DECC's Heat Mapping Tool, providing the opportunity for local authorities to use the application and test its outputs.
