Climate Leader Awards
The Climate Leaders Awards celebrate and recognise that many local authorities are delivering innovative, high-quality services which:
• mitigate the potential of climate change, and
• help their local area to adapt to unavoidable impacts.
The Climate Leaders Awards are for departments, teams and individuals who are on the front line of delivering exemplary climate change services to their local citizens and businesses, and who are willing to share, inspire and teach others to do the same.
The last Climate Leader Awards were presented in 2010
The 2010 awards ceremoney took place on Tuesday 2nd November 2010. A full list of award winners is below.

Darren Pegram of Stockport Council for his work encouraging, championing and promoting the issues that affecting sustainable living and climate change.
