2012-13 Local Project Funding
Since 2008 CLASP has provided over £600,000 to North West local authorities and their partners for energy & emission reduction, climate adaptation, planning and skills projects.
We were pleased to be able announce a new round of project funding support for innovative local authority led projects in 2012/13. We were very impressed by the quality of submissions and 5 projects were made funding offers. 4 projects were able to take this up and have now completed their activities.
Carbon Brokerage

The overall aim of the project was to appraise options and develop potential business models for a carbon brokerage scheme that incentivises carbon sequestration through land management.
